je vous donne les quelques infos que j'ai obtenues sur un forum Aussie, si ça peut intéresser qqun:
* In august the best area on the east coast is Newcastle or Nelsons Bay.Strong westery winds blow consistantly August through to september but the water will be cold. It is probably further south than you wanted to go but check out www.nswwavesailing.org
** i don't really know about anything below queensland.
although they spots that are on the windsurf queensland website would have you thinking queensland is rather crap.. its not..
try golden beach at coloundra onthe sunshine coast.. its got flat water, and it goes out through a channel (gap thing) where you get some good surf. in high winds the surf can get pretty big there..
ummm gold coast is ok.. but the wind is a bit on and off, they broad water at southport is ok for flat water, and burleigh, kirra area are ok for waves.
if you go up north there is a place called Bowen which is execellent for windsurfing. there arn't waves for wavesailing very often but the swell and chop is there so you can do plenty of big jumps, also the water is warm and clean and no shark nets. so you can sail as far as you want, its behind the barrier reef so sharks are not a problem, (not that they ever are when you are on a windsurfer) and the wind is blows often August is a fairly wind time, and there is a beach for every direction of wind. but you can sail off any beach in any wind. and the wind blows consistanly all day. if its 20 knots at 5am its 20 knots at 7pm. oh Bowen is at the top of the whitsundays.. 20min from ayrle beach.
gold coast city, plenty of party
sunshine coast large towns, there are clubs and wot not
bowen, small town, not much night life wich is ok cause you will be too sleepy from windsurfing.. its got farms so if you are picking fruit while here.. thats there..
[b]je posterai dans le Forum des infos à mon retour.
merci pour les échanges au Pape du Jibe et à Tonny!
