<br>Tonki and Tati were the only top pros using absolutely production, off the shelf boards. Tati finished second, not fourth. Tati finished the world championship in fourth with Tonki in fifth, always with production boards, not custom. This is a tribute not only to the good qualities of the maxride boards, but more importantly to the unbelievable talent Tati and Tonki have.
<br>The talent in freestyle runs very deep and most of the top riders were using custom superlight boards, except for Tonki and Tati.
<br>Yet when the competition is over, they don't fly off to a nice house in Maui, or go ride a fancy Humvee, or truck with shiny wheels.
<br>Tonki and Tati live in very humble conditions and need help finantialy.
<br>they have been competing all year on a shoestring budget, and have been very professional in their demeanor. They deserve better support.
<br>I would like to see AHD helping these talented riders a lot more aggressively for next year.</span>

<br>trad: (rapide!) les frères trans étaient les seuls pros à bonaire à utiliser des planches de série (comme ils l'ont fait d'ailleurs toute la saison)
<br> tous leurs adversaires avaient des protos ultralégers et ils ont pourtant fini 4ième et 5ième au championnat ... ce n'est pas à mettre au crédit de leurs planches, plutôt de leur incroyable talent! ils ont fait toute la saison avec un budget ridicule et se sont pourtant montrés très professionnels.
<br>après l'épreuve, ils ne sont pas rentrés comme d'autres dans leur belle et confortable maison de mauï, ni acheté une grosse bagnole: ce sont des mecs modestes qui vivent modestement. ils méritent qu'on les aide et j'aimerais qu'ahd fasse un effort pour leur donner les moyens qu'ils méritent l'année prochaine
